Roast log: Guatemala El Injerto (espresso roast)

El Injerto farm has been a consistent winner of previous Guatemalan COE awards. This is a washed mix of catuai and bourbon varietals. Almost defect free, and well behaved in the roaster. I'll try to remember to come back and add tasting notes here once it's rested.

Update 19/8/10: Nice clean coffee, but needs to go a bit darker i think.. too much acidity at this roast level and still a tiny bit grassy. Did another roast today a bit darker and it looks very nice. Kept roast time to 15:20 but dropped at 150 degrees instead. Worked well.
